The Christian Medical Association offers a 10-module training program for health professionals on trafficking in persons (TIP); the program carries up to 10 credits of Continuing Medical Education (CME), which physicians require for continued professional practice. The modules cover both domestic and international TIP, the identification and medical evaluation of labor trafficking, physical, mental health and spiritual issues, caring for victims in low-resource settings and more.
The courses are available online at https://www.pathlms.com/cmda/courses/21177. I can provide a way for government officials to review the modules without paying for the CME credit--please contact me at JI@Freedom2Care.org.
Thanks for your work on this and for soliciting ideas. Please be sure to include me on future correspondence and invitation lists.
